A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height consisting of a modeled silver color metal fleur-de-lis surmounted by two modeled silver color metal micrometers palewise with frames to base, supported by a red scroll inscribed FIND A WAY in silver color metal letters.
The fleur-de-lis, suggested by the North compass point of medieval European maps, is indicative of a determined direction and implies both planning and directing. The two micrometers allude to the exactness of the units mission and to the numerical designation. A single micrometer, representative of the numeral five, refers to five decorations awarded the organization for service during World War II and Korea.
